PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device provided with a carrying means capable of carrying a paper sheet without making contact with the image formed with incompletely fixed toner on one side or both sides of the paper sheet in an image formation device wherein a toner image is fixed after being transferred on one side or both sides of a paper sheet. SOLUTION: This image formation device is provided with a transfer means 7 for transferring the toner image formed by a toner image forming means 5 on the paper sheet 6 and the carrying means 2 for carrying the paper sheet 6 on which the toner image is transferred by the transferring means 7. The carrying means 2 has a grip mechanism 17 for gripping the paper sheet 6 and a moving mechanism 18 for reciprocating the grip mechanism 17 along the direction D to carry the paper sheet 6. The paper sheet 6 is carried by moving the moving mechanism 18 along the direction D to carry the paper sheet 6 with the end section of the paper sheet, on which the toner image is transferred, gripped by the grip mechanism 17 in the transfer means 7.
