<p>An IC engine with an adjustable stroke has a jointed connecting rod (3,4) and with the joint (13) linked to a control arm (6) connected to one end of a guide arm (7) which is pivot mounted at a point (17) near to the connecting rod pivot and with the other end connected to a variable length adjuster (8). The length of the adjuster controls the stroke of the engine between max. and min. settings.</p> |
