<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of adding a desired character string and an image to a photographed image. <P>SOLUTION: The printer incorporated digital camera is provided with a display/read panel, in which a display unit for displaying a photographed image and a read unit for reading a locus formed by tracing the surface are overlapped; an added image generating unit for generating added image data, indicating the locus formed by tracing the surface of the display/read panel; and a image printer unit for printing on a recording sheet an added image with the locus obtained, by adding the locus on the picked-up image.
