<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly tray type memory card adapter module, having positioning means at a leading edge of the tray, enabling a memory card when left in the memory card adapter, to be latched, controlled, and retained in a position or when being taken out, to be easily taken out by releasing the positioning status. <P>SOLUTION: The memory card adapter module has a base 10 installed on a board 60, and a tray 20 sliding on the base to open or close. Some through-holes 14 corresponding to contacts 61 of the board are provided on the bottom part of the base. A plurality of terminals are installed in positions corresponding to through-holes on the bottom part of the tray. When the tray is slid to open to house a memory card, the terminals abut the I/O terminals of the memory card 30, and when the tray is slid to close, the terminals are aligned with the through-holes and electrically connected with the contacts of the board via the through-holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
