PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and high-gain microwave amplifier in which a matching circuit composed of a bonding wire and a capacitive coupling line of which the length is shorter than 1/4 wavelength is used to eliminate the need for separate connection of an element for preventing DC component leakage. SOLUTION: In the microwave amplifier, a bias supply circuit including stubs (24 and 25) to be capacitive in an operating frequency, the matching circuit having a coupling line 26 of which the length is the 1/4 wavelength in the operating frequency and a transmission line (22) and an active element 20 are connected by a bonding wire 21 to eliminate necessity of separate connection of the element for preventing the DC component leakage.
