PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite particles which can easily change particles into cured particles or semicured particles without changing the form of mother particles of a thermoplastic resin or the like with the use of a carbodiimide resin, furthermore makes the most of the reactive performance inherently possessed by a carbodiimide group, and excel in mechanical and functional properties. SOLUTION: The composite particle is constituted of mother particles (A) having a functional group capable of reacting with a carbodiimide group and a carbodiimide resin (B), and the functional group of the mother particles (A) is bonded to the carbodiimide group of the carbodiimide resin (B) to form an outer shell composed of the carbodiimide resin (B) having an average thickness diameter (L) to be represented by formula [1]: L=(L<SB>2</SB>-L<SB>1</SB>)/2 (wherein L<SB>1</SB>is an average particle diameter of the mother particle; and L<SB>2</SB>is an average particle diameter of the composite particle) in the range of 0.01-20μm.
