<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for surely restricting use of contents by simpler structure without being influenced by date and time to be counted by a clock of a communication terminal, and by communication environment. <P>SOLUTION: The communication terminal receives the contents, transmission date and time information indicating the date and time when the contents are transmitted and control date and time information indicating a period when the contents can be used from a server, stores them by associating them respectively, calculates time difference information indicating difference between the date and time indicated by the transmission date and time information and date and time counted by a time counting means when the contents are received, stores it by associating with the contents, calculates use judgment standard date and time by adding difference indicated by the time difference information to the date and time counted by the time counting means and judges whether or not the contents can be used in the present terminal by comparing the period indicated by use judgment standard date and time with the period indicated by control date and time information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
