PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a coin type lithium cell having an excellent characteristic, high reliability and high stability, wherein a separability between a lithium metal and a punch is improved. SOLUTION: When the lithium metal 22 is rolled or formed by using punches 37 or 38, or a lithium metal plate is punched by using a blanking punch, electrolyte or its non-aqueous solvent is applied to a surface of at least one of the punch and the lithium metal.
