PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode structure of a light source tube in which an emission current can be increased. SOLUTION: A gate structure 4 is constituted of a mesh part 4-1 and a surrounding part 4-2. The mesh part 4-1 is constituted of a plurality of nearly hexagonal shape frames 4-3 and a plurality of meshes 4-4 arranged inside the frames 4-3.
