PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch switch device in which the operation is stabilized and the assembly work is made easy, and the appearance is made good by reducing the gap, as the distance to the signal operating part is made equal whichever position of the relatively wide operating face is depressed, since the operation of the touch panel is made a parallel movement to the panel box, and a refrigerator having the touch switch. SOLUTION: In the touch switch device, a movable plate 19 that operates a signal switch 18 is pivotally supported rotatably in a panel box 17 fixed to an opening 11b of a surface plate 11, and a touch panel that has a bearing support 16a for engaging with a locking part 19b formed at the other rotating end of the movable plate is arranged at the opening 11b of the surface plate. A link shaft 21 is provided rotatably at the panel box so as to cross at right angles the locking part of the movable plate, and supports the touch panel capable of movement to the front and rear of the opening by engaging its locking groove 16c with the link shaft, and the signal switch is made to be operated by a depression action.
