<p>The pressure shock and noise damper for intermediate pieces in water pipes has an elastic sleeve component (14) encompassed by the rigid housing (26) of the intermediate piece. A fluid damping element (12) is fitted watertight radially between the housing and sleeve component. A dimensionally stable two-piece capsule (10) is fitted in the splittable housing and includes the damping element. The sleeve component on each end has a flange-type sealing bead (20) which bears against a radial inner shoulder (34,36) and is radially pressed against an encompassing inner face (38,40) of the housing.</p> |
