Arrangement for liquid coating, especially for a liquid film

The device is for the application of a liquid coating material particularly a liquid film, and comprises a material source and a nozzle arrangement connected to the source by a pressure conduit. It is movable relatively to the surface onto which the material is to be applied. The nozzle arrangement (9) has a full jet outlet aperture (15), which is directed towards a deflection plate (17). The deflection plate encloses an angle (alpha) in the range of 45 to 85 degrees with the axis of the outlet aperture. The nozzle arrangement produces a flat jet (18) with a width of at least 8 cm. The outlet aperture has a diameter in the range of 1.5 to 4mm. The material source produces a pressure in the range of 2 to 8 bar at the inlet of the nozzle arrangement. The material source (4) incorporates a volumetric controlled feed device (6), coupled with a transport unit (11) and determines the volume flow of material against the application surface (3).
