FIELD: agriculture, evaluation of nonuniformity of soil cover in fields of agricultural assignment. SUBSTANCE: procedure includes layout of field in stripes, recording of force of soil resistance to working tool passing along stripes at depth of basic soil treatment, drilling of holes in passageways of working tool in points displaying maximum and minimum values of force of soil resistance to working tool, measurement of thickness of humus layer in holes and computation of average coefficients of inverse dependence of thickness of humus layer on force of soil resistance to working tool. Then these coefficients and forces of soil resistance to working tool are utilized to compute thickness of humus layer in number of points in each passageway of working tool with subsequent construction of curves of distribution of thickness of humus layer. Field is divided into stripes starting from its division into two stripes equal in width. One of them is again divided into two stripes equal in width and this division is continued by same dependence ai = L/2i, where ai is width of each of two stripes obtained by i-th division of one stripe with width ai-1 gained by i-th division; L is width of field. Forces of soil resistance to working tool while it passes along separation boundary of these stripes are recorded after each formation of two stripes with width ai. Statistic check by Kolmogorov criterion of consent of two compared selections of values of forces of soil resistance to working tool is conducted after each passage of working tool beginning with second passage. One selection is gained on separation boundary of stripes with width a1 and the other-on separation boundary of stripes with width ai before formation of stripes with width an, with which lack of statistically significant difference in compared selections of values of forces of soil resistance to working tool is established. Thereafter division of field into striped with width an. is completed. EFFECT: reduced labor input into field layout, increased authenticity of evaluation of thickness of humus layer in soil cover. 1 dwg
