PURPOSE: A mold base clamping apparatus is provided in which fixing operation of base frame and mold frame (fixed frame) is remotely performed by worker in the mold exchanging process to shorten working hours and prevent cooling water leakage and facility accident. CONSTITUTION: The mold base clamping apparatus comprises fixed frames installed in such a way that a cooling water tank of mold facility used in the continuous casting process is positioned between the fixed frames; a base frame installed under the cooling water tank; and base clamping parts installed in such a way that the cooling water tank is positioned between the base clamping parts under the fixed frames, wherein the base clamping parts comprise a hydraulic actuator(70), a clamping pin(100) which passes through disk spring(90) and hydraulic cylinder(80), and a lower part of which connected and assembled into the hydraulic actuator, a clamping base(50a) assembled onto an upper part of the clamping pin, a plate assembled into left and right of the clamping base, and a pocket base equipped with plate and installed at four points of the base frame, wherein a plurality of cooling water pipes for supplying cooling water are installed at left and right sides of the base frame.
