PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centering device capable of performing centering of a web fed from a feeding device. SOLUTION: A sensor block 66 is moved by a hydraulic cylinder 88 to follow an edge E of the web during feeding, and travel distance of the sensor block 66 from a home position is transmitted to a controller 98 as the number of pulses by an encoder 106. The controller 98 computes the center deviation amount of the web from a position of the edge E of the web and web width information and operates a hydraulic cylinder 62 to perform centering of the web.
