PURPOSE: A device for controlling the skew of a belt in a tension weight is provided to restore the tension weight by moving a moving weight in a contrary direction of the tension weight when the tension weight is askew. CONSTITUTION: In a belt conveyor including a tension weight(116) fixed to the lower part of a weight supporter(130), an arc rail(10) is rotatably mounted to the weight supporter. The arc rail is located above the tension weight, and is rotated so that the skew part of a belt(B) is downward when the belt is skew. A moving weight(30) is movably mounted to the arc rail.
