PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to improve a liquid crystal injection rate and uniformly inject a liquid crystal even into the edge of a liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes upper and lower substrates opposite to each other, electrodes arranged in a stripe pattern on the upper and lower substrates, a semi-ferroelectric liquid crystal injected into an active region(18) of a liquid crystal cell, and an ITO film(24) provided in a non-active region. The ITO film prevents a phenomenon that the liquid crystal is not injected to a specific region, and increases a liquid crystal injection rate. The ITO film is formed in a line pattern. |
