PURPOSE: A system for transmitting/receiving data in a board is provided to improve the total performance of a board by supplying a variable data transmission capacity to a transmission FIFO(First-In First-Out) and a receipt FIFO when data are transmitted or received, making a CPU adjust a transmitting/receiving data amount according to data transmission capacities of corresponding transmission FIFO and receipt FIFO, thereby increasing a data transmission/receipt efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(100) automatically senses a data transmission/receipt matching speed difference and a transmission/receipt transmission capacity and executes a data transmission/receipt according to corresponding data transmission/receipt matching speed differences and transmission/receipt transmission capacities. A transmission FIFO(300) has a variable data transmission capacity and stores transmission data transmitted by the CPU(100). A receipt FIFO(400) has a variable data transmission capacity and stores receipt data. A line interface unit(500) changes a parallel/serial as to transmission data stored in the transmission FIFO(300), transmits the data to the other board, changes a parallel/serial as to a receipt data received from a corresponding other board, and stores the data in the receipt FIFO(400). A control unit(600) compares an inputted clock, measures a data transmission/receipt matching speed difference of the transmission FIFO(300) and the receipt FIFO(400), reads a transmission state and a receipt state, creates a data transmission capacity record and state change signal, and transmits control data and an interrupt as to a data transmission/receipt matching speed difference and a data transmission capacity of the transmission FIFO(300) and the receipt FIFO(400) to the CPU(100).
