PURPOSE: To attain smooth travel without generating large shock even under low temperature and to prevent a belt slip of a belt-type continuously variable transmission. CONSTITUTION: This engine output torque control device is provided with a variable speed means 40 for inputting driving force from an engine and changing the speed to output the driving force to driving wheels; an oil temperature detecting means 55 for detecting the temperature of operating oil for the speed change of the variable speed means; and an engine output torque control means 50 for limiting the output torque of the engine while the oil temperature detected by the oil temperature detecting means is a prescribed temperature or lower and gradually releasing the limit of the output torque of the engine when the oil temperature becomes higher than the prescribed temperature.
