<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic dictionary integrated with a writing material and quickly searching a Chinese character memorized uncertainly or a letter of an uncertain spelling in writing the letter. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic dictionary is characterized in disposing a writing material part in the tip of a cylindrical body and incorporating an electronic dictionary part comprising, at least, an arithmetic function part, a storage function part, a display function part, an input function part, and a power supply part in a cylindrical body in the rear part of the writing material part. This electronic dictionary is characterized in longitudinally dividing a part of the cylindrical body, making one to a dictionary part body and the other to a lid body to be connected to the dictionary body, and disposing display boards in the dictionary part body and the lid body respectively. This electronic dictionary is characterized in setting the input function part to a reader using a lens and an optical sensor disposed in one of the cylindrical body and setting the display function part to a curved surface display board disposed in the outer wall surface of the cylindrical body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
