PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner manufacturing method that can reduce the generation of fine powder in pulverizing a resin composition and for efficiently manufacturing a small grain size toner. SOLUTION: The toner manufacturing method includes a process in which a mixture composed of a resin composition containing at least a binding resin and a coloring agent and of inorganic particulates is pulverized by a pulverizer having a Venturi nozzle and a collision component arranged to face the Venturi nozzle. The Venturi nozzle is composed of an entrance, a throat, a diffuser and an exit in this order, with the inside face of the throat circular-arcuately shaped in a smooth continuous manner from the entrance to the diffuser.
