PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy and efficient mounting work of an arm stopper on a door. SOLUTION: There is provided an arm stopper device A according to which one end of the arm stopper 11 is movably pivoted on a head 12 of a door outer frame 1 by means of a sliding member 13, and the other end is pivoted on a mounting fixture 15 fixed to a top rail 14 of the door 2, whereby the arm stopper 11 limits the opening of the door 2 to a predetermined angle. The mounting fixture 15 includes upward engaging pieces 28, an engaging protrusion 30, and an insertion hole. The engaging pieces 28 are protruded from both corners of one end of the mounting fixture 15, and accommodated in respective sides in a fixture housing slot 20. The engaging protrusion 30 is protruded from the superposed surface thereof to be superposed on the fixture housing slot 20, and engaged with a positioning hole formed in the bottom of the fixture housing slot 20. The insertion hole is formed in the other side of the fixture 15 for allowing the insertion of a fixing screw 32 screwed into a bottom screw hole 31 formed in the fixture housing slot 20. Thus the fixing work of the mounting fixture 15 to the top rail 14 of the door 2 is carried out by using the single fixing screw 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
