<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system preventing wasteful distribution of information while distributing information to more people to efficiently enhance advertisement effects by detecting registrants located around a registrant who has acted in a specific way, and distributing distribution information to the other registrants detected here. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal 3 of the registrant 4 who makes transaction at a shop sends response request signals to other mobile terminals via short-range radio communication. The other mobile terminals 3 send back response signals on receiving the response request signals. The mobile terminal 3 creates a list of the other portable terminals 3 which sent the response signals, and reports the list to a center device 1. The center device 1 distributes distribution information for each registrant 4 entered on the list reported.
