PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook retracting device capable of easily performing exchange work between hook retracting links 24, 27 for retracting a multiple-hanging hook 8 and a single-hanging hook 23 to the hook retracting position for a crane which hangs the hook 8 and the hook 23 at a boom front end 4d so as to be exchangeable. SOLUTION: A first pivot hole 20 and a second pivot hole 22 are provided in a link fitting bracket 16 which is attached onto the boom front end 4d. The multiple-hanging hook retracting link 24; which is equipped with a hook abutting section 25 at the lower end and retracts the hook 8 to a hook retracting position B1 by additional hoisting movement after being abutted against the multiple hanging hook 8, is rotatably supported in the first pivot hole 20 for free oscillation. The single-hanging hook retracting link 27, which is equipped with a hook abutting section 28 at the lower end and retracts the hook 23 to a hook retracting position B2 by additional hoisting movement after being abutted against the single hanging hook 23, is rotatably supported in the second pivot hole 22 for free oscillation. A link latching device 31 is capable of latching an unused link among the hook retracting links 24, 27 to the outside of a hook movable area. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
