<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method without lowering charge uniformity, developability, transfer performance and an image, in a process in toner transfer from visualization of toner onto a drum to paper in a draft mode increasing a process speed. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that the draft mode is selected, a discharge voltage value, a developing voltage value, a developing frequency, an amount of exposure, transfer voltage and their on-off timing are modified from a normal print mode set value to be printed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
