PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which can be photographed in urgent evacuation when encountering an object desired to be photographed at any cost in the state that a main battery is exhausted. SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with an output terminal 39 for outputting photographing power; a first battery 35a supplying power for photographing; a second battery 35b supplying the power for time display; a power source part having a changeover part 38 changing over connection between the first battery and the output terminal and connection between the second battery and the output terminal; a voltage detection part 36 for detecting output voltage of the first battery and the second battery; and an operator making operation valid after the output voltage of the first battery detected with the voltage detection part is lowered down to prescribed voltage. The changeover part 38 receives operation of the operator, cuts connection between the first battery 35a and the output terminal 39, and connects between the second battery 35b and the output terminal 39.
