PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor able to be assembled in such a manner that a butterfly valve is completely closed. SOLUTION: A shutter part provided in the outlet of a container for object matters to be conveyed has a plurality of the butterfly valves with rotation shafts extending parallelly with each other and an opening/closing mechanism for opening and closing the valves. The mechanism has rotary bodies fixed on tip ends at a same end side of two ends of the shafts and connecting members fixed to the adjacent rotary bodies for interlocking the rotary bodies. The tip end of the rotary shaft of the butterfly valve is inserted in a through hole formed in the rotary body, and a nut is screwed on a male screw formed on its tip end to connect the rotation shaft and the rotary body with each other. An outer circumference of the tip end of the rotary shaft has a truncated cone shape tapered to decrease its diameter toward the rotary body. An inner circumference of the through hole in the rotary body is tapered to increase its diameter toward the rotation shaft. The rotation shaft and the rotary body are secured with each other by fastening the nut to press the inner circumference against the outer circumference. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
