PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game-associated device control system and a game-associated device in which a playhouse clerk can speedily cope with an error of a game machine, a game peripheral device, etc., in the playhouse. SOLUTION: The game-associated device control system comprises the game-associated device capable of detecting abnormality occurring in its own device, and a portable terminal enabling communication with the game-associated device and capable of displaying prescribed information. When detecting the abnormality occurring in its own device, the game-associated device transmits information according to the abnormality to the portable terminal, which displays the information.
