<p>A mobile 3-part crusher assembly (10) having a feeder section (11), a crusher section (12) and a discharge section (13) which are detachably connectable together to work in a crushing mode, and can be separated from each other for individual handling and transport in a transport mode of the assembly. The crusher section (12) is pivotally connected to the discharge section (13), and the feeder section (11) and the discharge section (13) are manoeuverable independently of each other, so as to facilitate overall manoeuverability of the assembly on site. The rigid coupling between the feeder section (11) and the crusher section (12) is provided by vertically spaced receiving-socket type couplings (20) on section (11) and complimentary mountings (21) on section (12) which are clamped to couplings (20). The detachable coupling of section (13) to section (12) (which provides separate horizontal and vertical pivot axes - on level ground), is formed by interfit between horizontal mounting (22) of section (12) and pivot support (14) of section (13). There is also a coupling between a forward pivot (23) on a forward conveyor portion (24) of section (13) on a pivot support (not shown in detail) provided either on section (11), or (12). The forward conveyor portion (24) of the discharge section (13) has two articulated sections (24a) and (24b), and with the foremost section (24a) being capable of underlying the discharge outlet (26) for crushed material from the jaws (18), (19) of the crusher section. The discharge section (13) preferably is provided with one or more screening portions, to separate the screened material into different size ranges, and one or more discharge conveyors may be provided, which can be adjusted to vary the position of discharge of crushed and screened material from the discharge section (13).</p> |
