<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity ordering method by which a user can simply and accurately place an order using printed commodity advertisement, and an order receiver side can simply and accurately receive the order. <P>SOLUTION: Using printed matter P on which pieces of commodity information G1, G2, and further code information for identifying the commodity, order entry fields C1, C2, M1, M2 for entering an ordering intention on the commodity by the user, a shipping destination entry field A for entering destination information on the commodity by the user, and an additional information bar code B including information for identifying the positions of the order entry fields and the shipping destination entry field are printed, the user fills in necessary fields C1, C2, M1, M2 with marks, fills in the shipping destination entry field A with a destination, and transmits the printed matter P by facsimile. An order receiving side reads images on the printed matter P, receives the order of the ordered commodity according to the order entry fields, and prints out the destination information described in the shipping destination entry field for shipping the commodity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
