PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid type stepping motor which is facilitated for reduction in size, an increase in steps to multisteps and easy for manufacturing. SOLUTION: In an inner rotor type hybrid stepping motor, a stator core 20 is divided into a plurality of, for example four split stator cores 21, and each core 21 is sandwiched between a pair of bearing housings 13 and 14. The winding of a coil 25 on each stator pole 23 is facilitated even when its size is reduced by dividing the core 20. The stepping motor can be increased to multisteps by increasing the number of stator pole teeth of the stator poles 23 and the rotor pole teeth 19 of rotor cores 17, 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
