摘要 PURPOSE: To realize a method for the efficient correction of the second-order term components of the magnetostatic field, an apparatus which forms the magnetostatic field with the second-order term components efficiently corrected and a magnetic resonance imaging device with the magnetic field forming device thus arranged. CONSTITUTION: In the correction of the uneven errors in the magnetostatic fields which are formed by a pair of magnets(102) supported with yokes(202 and 204) facing each other sandwiching a space, the second-order term components of the magnetostatic fields are corrected by the second-order term components of the magnetic fields generated with a pair of circular coils(104) and the zero-order term components of the magnetic fields with the pair of circular ring coils are compensated for by the zero-order term components of the magnetic field generated with a coil(114) wound on the yoke(204).
