<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus by which the occurrence of defective transfer due to the increase of the moisture content of a recording body is suppressed while attaining image forming by one-path system to both sides of the recording body. <P>SOLUTION: A heat generating means is provided at least at either of the pair of registration rollers 31 to feed transfer paper P to a both-side transferring means so as to heat the transfer paper P before being fed to the both-side transferring means possessing a first transfer unit 15 and a second transfer unit 24. Then, the first transfer unit 15 primarily transfers toner images formed on four photoreceptors 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K by overlapping on a first intermediate transfer belt 8. Also, the second transfer unit 24 secondarily transfers the toner images overlapped and transferred on/to the first intermediate transfer belt 8 to one surface of the transfer paper P and thirdly transfers to the other surface of the transfer paper P after secondarily transferring to a second intermediate transfer belt 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
