PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device in which an internal gear can be firmly and easily fixed to an enclosure member while restricting deformation of the internal gear. SOLUTION: This gear device is provided with the enclosure member 12 having a fixing wall 17 having a circular cross section, the internal gear 30 fixed on the inner circumferential side of the fixing wall 17, and an external gear 40 to be inscribed and engaged with the internal gear 30 to be capable of making planetary movement. A first engagement part 20 and a second engagement part 21 engaged with each other to fix the internal gear 30 to the fixing wall 17 are respectively provided on an inner circumferential part 17a of the fixing wall 17 and an outer circumferential part 30a of the internal gear 30. The first engagement part 20 is protruded in diametric directions of the fixing wall 17 and the internal gear 30 from the inner circumferential part 17a toward the outer circumferential part 30a of the internal gear 30. The second engagement part 21 presses the first engagement part 20 from both sides of the circumferential directions of the fixing wall 17 and the internal gear 30 to form a space 24 on the side of a projection tip part 20a of the first engagement part 20.
