PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper with high blister resistance, running performance in printing and print quality, and useful for both offset printing and electrophotographic copy. SOLUTION: The coated paper comprises a coated layer comprising a pigment and an adhesive and preferably, an anionic acrylic resin which contains polyacrylamide, on a base paper sheet, and the layer has≥70% of glossiness, and manifests as a whole paper≤4,000 seconds of air permeability,≥12cm of Clarke critical length in CD (crossing direction) and≥200 mJ of internal bonding strength (TAPPI UM-403).
