PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing noodles designed to produce a large amount of the noodles at high speeds by automatic operation. SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing the noodles is equipped with an apparatus 10 for producing noodle belts arranged in series, a plurality of rolling roll apparatuses 20 and 26, a noodle belt cutting apparatus 31, a plurality of belt conveyors 16 and 25 arranged in series and a controller 35. Furthermore, the controller 35 lowers the belt conveyors and controls the operating speed of the each apparatus so as to keep the vertical positions of noodle belts within a prescribed range when passage of the noodle belts is detected. Thereby, the automatic operation continuous from the start of operation to the continuous high-speed operation can be performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
