PURPOSE: Provided are a chip plywood to have the chip pattern of intaglio and relief on the surface which has natural texture feeling, and a preparation method thereof. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of the chip plywood comprises the steps of: applying Formica(2) 0.6 to 0.7 mm thick to the conventional plywood(1); applying the synthetic resin film(3) thereon before Formica gets cured; placing a silicon frame with a concavo-concave chip formed, on the synthetic resin film before Formica gets cured and pressing with a press roller; and drying the pressed plywood.
