<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high reliability gas concentration detector that can continuously, stably, and accurately detect/display the concentration of gas, without being affected by sensor drift or background noise. <P>SOLUTION: The gas concentration detector comprises an electrochemical gas sensor 13 for detecting EO gas; an output circuit 15 for detecting the electromotive force in an accumulator 14 for drive and a gas sensor 13 as voltage values; a CPU 16 for converting the output voltage value from the output circuit 15 into gas concentration; an LCD 18 for displaying converted gas concentration; and a bias circuit 29 for applying a bias voltage, corresponding to a voltage content that is sufficient for canceling at least background noise and sensor drift to the gas sensor 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
