PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure various operations of a gas appliance G only by manually operating an operation section A of a remote controller which operates the gas appliance G by rotation of the operation section A via a wire W for remote-control. SOLUTION: A lock pin 4 is provided so as to reciprocatingly move according to rotation of an operation knob 14 of the operation section A. The outward path and the return path of the lock pin 4 are respectively formed on different arcs, the outward path is made of continuous groove parts 3, and the return path is made of a plurality of recessed grooves discontinuously formed with a predetermined interval with introduction grooves serial to ends of the groove parts 3. The lock pin 4 is oscillatingly contained in the operation knob 14, and runs on the outward path and the return path with being energized in a direction for being pressed against bottom surfaces in the respective grooves by a first energizing means.
