PURPOSE: A TFT array substrate and a method for fabricating the same are provided to easily discharge static electricity generated in the process of fabricating a TFT array substrate by a static electricity-resistant wire. CONSTITUTION: A TFT array substrate includes a plurality of resistant stepped-parts(G) respectively connected to a plurality of gate and data lines(200,700) for preventing the breakage of TFTs formed in a display part by discharging static electricity. The resistant stepped-parts includes wires formed of two parts respectively having high and low linear resistances. The static electricity is discharged before flowing to the gate and data lines by the spark discharge generated by the steep change of the linear resistance of the resistance stepped-portions. |
