PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner that achieves satisfactory development performance and durability and prevents troubles such as fusing of toner and constituents derived from paper powder to a contact member, or caking to a fixing member even in highly durable use. SOLUTION: In the toner having at least a binding resin and wax, the binding resin contains at least one or more vinyl resins selected from a group consisting of a vinyl resin having a carboxyl group, a vinyl resin having an epoxy group, a vinyl resin having a carboxyl group and an epoxy group, and a vinyl resin subjected to the reaction of a carboxyl group and an epoxy group. The acid number of the toner soluble in THF is 1 to 50 mgKOH/G. The wax is a polyolefin wax compounded with a metallocene catalyst. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
