PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device contributing to the conservation of natural resources by shortening the length of the lighting device body, made easy to mount a reflection shade by simplifying the positioning work of the reflection shade and the device body. SOLUTION: The lighting device has a device main body 1 having L-shaped folded parts 2 and the reflection shade 4 on which, socket holes 6 for mounting a lamp socket at both ends in longitudinal direction. A tapered recessed parts 5 are formed at both end part of the reflection shade 4 bent inward, corresponding to the folded part 2 of the device body 1, and the reflection shade is temporarily held by making the recessed part 5 engage with the L-shaped folded part 2.
