PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broiler capable of evenly heating a cooked material mounted on a grid. SOLUTION: The broiler has the grid, on which a cooked material is mounted, inside a broiler compartment 8, a heat pathway 11 for feeding heat generated from the burning of a burner 3 disposed outside the broiler compartment 8 to the upper part inside the broiler compartment 8, and a vent hole 13 for releasing the heat fed into the broiler compartment 8 to the outside of the broiler compartment 8. The broiler also has a rectifying means 15 for rectifying the hot air fed to the upper part inside the broiler compartment 8 through the heat pathway 11 so that the hot air evenly flows over the whole mounting surface 9a of the grid 9.
