<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate charging for coating on a print surface with a plurality of printers, and to manage the consumption status of consumable goods including a coating agent. <P>SOLUTION: From the plurality of printers 50 with built-in printers having coating cartridges with which coating on the print surfaces is possible, consumable goods consumption data on the consumption of consumable goods such as the coating agent, a form and ink are acquired regularly and registered with a consumable goods consumption database 22. Then, the consumable goods consumption data are outputted to a demarcation management server 40 which manages the printers 50 to manage the consumption status of the consumable goods from the consumable goods consumption data. A predetermined unit cost for every kind of the coating, form and ink is multiplied by the consumption amount in a month of every kind of the coating, form and ink by totalizing. Charging calculation is performed for respective printers 50, and the calculation result is outputted to the corresponding printer 50 and the demarcation management server 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
