DNA modules and promoters and structural genes coding for strawberry pectate lyase and their use in obtaining transgenic strawberries. DNA sequences and gene promoters coding for strawberry pectate lyase are provided. The said DNA and promoters have application in the biotechnological production of plants of agricultural interest, especially transgenic strawberries.
