<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide marsh for growing ditch reeds where the ditch reeds can be grown suitably. <P>SOLUTION: The marsh for growing ditch reeds is obtained by adjusting the depth of a ground water level, submergence, salinity in pore water contained in soil, ignition loss of soil, soil depth and the soil particle diameter so as to be suitable for growing ditch reeds. It is preferable that the depth of the ground water level is ≥0cm but <37cm, the submergence is ≥0cm but <140cm, the salinity in pore water contained in the soil is >0PSU but <25PSU, the ignition loss of soil is >0% but <60%, the soil depth is ≥50cm, and the soil particle diameter is >0mm but <5.0mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
