<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honing technique for applying load to honing tools uniformly by cooperating the reciprocating motion of the honing tools with the feeding and expanding motion with high precision by a prescribed relation. <P>SOLUTION: Servo motors are used as drive sources respectively for a spindle reciprocating drive part and a grinding tool depth cutting part, and these two motors are mutually cooperated. The feeding and expanding motion of the honing tools is controlled to be synchronized and tuned with the ascending and descending (reciprocating) motion of a honing tool so as to average a processing load applied to the honing tools. Without modifying an existing basic mechanical device structure, therefore, the load applied to the honing tools is averaged, and the precision of the honing is stabilized and enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
