<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably provide reformed steam without any pulsation and to generate reformed gas with uniform composition. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid retaining means composed of foam metal 4 is disposed in the outer surface of an intermediate cylinder 2, water for the reformed steam is fed from a water feed port for the reformed steam disposed in its upper part, high-temperature flue gas is made to flow along the inner surface of the intermediate cylinder 2, the foam metal 4 is heated by heat transfer to evaporate the water for the reformed steam, and the steam evaporated from the foam metal 4 is mixed with a raw fuel, which is fed from a raw fuel feed port 9 and passes in contact with the foam metal 4, to be taken out from a reformed raw fuel takeout port 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
