<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform bi-directional transmission of a plurality of optical signals obtained by converting a plurality of pieces of serial digital data by using one common optical signal transmission cable. <P>SOLUTION: A multiplex optical signal is obtained by converting the plurality of serial data based on a digital video signal from a camera part 10 into the plurality of optical signals by using CWDM (coarse wavelength division multiplexing) technology and multiplexing them, the multiplex optical signal is transmitted to a signal transmission cable 31 through a bi-directional WDM coupler 22 arranged on the one end side of the optical signal transmission cable 31, transmitted from the one end side to the other end side, in addition, serial data based on a return video signal from a signal recording reproduction part 11 is converted into the optical signal and the optical signal is transmitted to the optical signal transmission cable 31 through a bi-directional WDM coupler 32 arranged on the other end side of the optical signal transmission cable 31 and transmitted from the other end side to one end side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
