<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance filling method for making it unnecessary for a user to visit an exclusive filling machine by performing balance filling simultaneously with fare adjustment to a boarding ticket having a prepaid function when the user enters and leaves a ticket examination machine without making the user consider a time required for the filling processing. <P>SOLUTION: When a user enters a ticket examination machine at a station, the necessity of balance filling to a prepaid type boarding ticket owned by the user is automatically decided, and when the balance filling is necessary, a credit concerning settlement is carried out at the station side while the user is moved by a train, and the credit result is stored at the station. When the user leaves the ticket examination machine, and it is decided that the balance filling is necessary by referring to the stored credit result, the balance filling to the boarding ticket is carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
